Period Radiators
Period radiators add a touch of class to any home. These are particularly suitable for older style Victorian houses. You can obtain quite reasonably priced cast iron radiators from many salvage and reclamation yards. prices can vary enormously. Another useful source is ebay.
Buying original cast iron radiators, you will need to test them for leaks. Often specialist old radiator suppliers will pressure test the radiators for you. Many cast iron radiators will have several layers of paint that you will want to strip off. This is a dauntiong task, but you can often get adequate results by rubbing down and painting over the surface.
